Advent in the heart of the old town

 When the cold season begins and the days grow shorter, a pre-Christmas atmosphere of coziness settles over Nienburg’s Old Town. Around the church, the historic town hall, and the half-timbered buildings, visitors can once again browse, linger, and shop.

On the church square, during the Advent weekends, clubs, volunteers, and artisans offer their products and Christmas treats in fir-decorated wooden booths (ÖZ: Fridays from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sundays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.).

On the market square, visitors can stroll through a small food court and enjoy the pre-Christmas atmosphere (ÖZ: Monday through Thursday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Fridays from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sundays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.).
