The Pied Piper Fountain is located on the town hall square, near the Hamelin town hall

The Pied Piper Fountain is located on the Rathausplatz, in the immediate vicinity of the Hamelin town hall, the theater and the Bürgergarten.

A sculpture was dedicated to the Pied Piper legend - the Pied Piper Fountain. The sculpture represents the exodus of the children.

In September 1975, Professor Karl Ulrich Nuss inaugurated his work personally.

Directions

Hameln can be easily reached by car via the surrounding motorways A2, A44 and A33 and several major highways (B1, B64, B80, B83, B217).

Arrival via ICE train stations in Hanover and Hildesheim. From Hanover and Paderborn with the S-Bahn / regional train. From Bünde (Bad Oeynhausen-Süd) and Bodenburg (via Hildesheim and Elze) with the NordWestBahn.

 

There are 3 customer parking spaces directly at the tourist information. Further parking spaces can be found in the immediate vicinity: Tanzschule Für Sie, Posthof, Rathaus or Kopmanshof.

There are also free bus parking spaces in the 164er-Ring and on Deisterstraße.
