On Friday, May 22 at 7 p.m., the City Guild invites you to a special reading in the Aegidius Church.
With impressive texts, members of the guild will bring the turbulent period of the Thirty Years' War to life. Dressed in period costume, they take on different roles and recount their experiences before and during the attack by Tilly and his mercenaries.
The personal fates of citizens, merchants, clergymen and soldiers paint a vivid picture of fear, hardship and hope in one of the darkest periods of the city's history.
A narrator guides us through the events and combines the individual scenes into a moving overall picture.
Experience history up close - touching, vivid and impressive.
Admission is free. The actors would be grateful for a kind donation
