Is Hemeln haunted? At least on the first weekend in September, you could answer this question in the affirmative. Because then it's "curtain up" again in the Dreschschuppen. The Theaterverein Bühnenfreunde Hemeln is presenting the comedy "Three Ghosts for Charlène" by Joel Müller.
The stage becomes an old villa in which three ghosts (Sebastian Gerke, Janine Noll, Stefan Urhahn) have been doing everything they can for years to drive away potential buyers. With the help of her cleaner (Reinhild Mönnikes-Meng), the owner (Monika Gronemann) wants to sell the villa to the investor (Sandra Breitbarth). Her last hope of ridding the house of ghosts lies in two ghost hunters (Melanie Henze, Janina Vorberg).
The play is about the fact that haunting is also an art and that ghosts also have a personality. A central message is also that sometimes completely different paths lead to the solution than originally thought and planned.
Before the approximately 100-minute two-act play, the theater association's Low German group presents the sketch "Der Lottogewinner" in Hemeln dialect.
The play will be performed on Saturday, September 6, from 7 pm and on Sunday, September 7, from 5 pm. Admission is free, but donations are requested. There is free seating. Catering will be provided.
