In dem um 1700 erbauten ehemaligen Bürgerhaus wohnte um 1750 der „Feldmedicus" Polycarp Leporin. Er war der Bruder der ersten promovierten Ärztin Deutschlands: Dorothea Erxleben, geborene Leporin. Heute ist in dem Gebäude die Mittelweser-Touristik GmbH mit der Tourist-Information untergebracht.
