Hann. Münden is hosting its popular beer festival for the sixth time. On May 8 and 9, 2026, the Dielengraben, directly between the Werra and the Welfenschloss, will once again be transformed into an enjoyable meeting place for beer lovers from near and far.
Regional brewing art at its best: visitors can look forward to the most unusual and exquisite creations from the participating breweries.
Tradition meets modernity: "The tradition of brewing beer in Hann. Münden dates back to the 16th century," explains Matthias Biroth, Managing Director of Hann. Münden Marketing GmbH and initiator of the beer festival. "The festival transports this history into the present and at the same time ties in with the current demand for individual and tasty beer varieties."
Two days full of enjoyment: on both days of the festival, visitors can sample different types of beer from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., discover new flavors and talk to the brewers. Varied live music with Stromfrei (08.05.) and Feierklang (09.05.) will provide the best entertainment
Non-alcoholic alternatives and hearty food: Alcohol-free beers and various non-alcoholic drinks will be on offer to ensure that enjoying a beer doesn't give you a headache the next morning. The festival offer is rounded off by a hearty selection of food to suit every taste.

The 2nd Hann. Münden Beer Festival takes place on the Dielengraben directly on the Werra. Easy to reach and find via the pedestrian zone Lange Straße, historic Werrabrücke.
