The Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister (Old Masters Picture Gallery) is one of the most important collections of its kind and enjoys worldwide renown. Spread across three floors, it houses approximately 500 paintings of European art from the Late Gothic to Classicism. A particular highlight is the collection of 17th‐century Dutch works of Flemish painting.

Rubens, Frans Hals, Van Dyck and Jordaens are represented here. Old German, Italian, French and Spanish painting also finds its place in the art gallery with works by Dürer, Titian, Poussin and Murillo.

Plus admission: €8.00 regular, €5.00 reduced (for groups of 10 or more)

There is an additional charge for tours in foreign languages.

Guided tour (1.5 hours)*

*Guided tours only available during the opening hours of the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister (Old Masters Picture Gallery).

Please note that there is a maximum of 20 participants per group/guide. A requests for group tours must be received at least 3 business days before the desired tour date.
