Nature and landscape guide Ralf König takes you on an exciting journey through time.

Volcanoes in Münden Nature Park! The geology and mining trail in the historic quarry on the Hoher Hagen impressively shows the geological phenomena of volcanism, which was active here 14 million years ago. Nature and landscape guide Ralf König takes you on an exciting journey through time from the formation of the landscape to the use of the rocks and the hard life of the stone workers - all the way to the centre of the earth! The 2 km long circular walk leads partly over unpaved paths and trails and is unfortunately not barrier-free. Sturdy, sure-footed shoes are an advantage. Other dates are possible on request.

Meeting point: Gaußturm car park on the Hohe Hagen, 37127 Dransfeld.
