Mulled wine hike

The hike

Today we embark on an atmospheric journey through the wintry landscape around Hann. Münden.

Our 7-kilometre hike takes us via Hermannshagen into the city forest. We enjoy our first mulled wine at the Weserliedanlage, along with the magnificent view of wintry Hann. Münden.

We then cross the Weser bridge into the Reinhardswald forest up to the Tillyschanze. A second mulled wine stop is planned here. We then walk back to the city center via the zig-zag path. There we will have our third mulled wine at the Hann. Münden Christmas market.

Note: The descent from the Tillyschanze takes place after sunset. Please bring a headlamp/torch with you.

Trail conditions:

• Loose ground (forest paths and trails), gravel and asphalt

Requirements:

• Physical condition for a 7 km hike and 190 meters in altitude
• Walking speed of 4 - 5 km/h
• sure-footedness
• Depending on the weather, the paths may be muddy

What you need to bring

• basic physical condition for the hike
• Sturdy shoes with a good tread
• Clothing suitable for the weather
• A headlamp / flashlight for the descent from the Tillyschanze
• Sufficient provisions for on the way
  (food for the small appetite and non-alcoholic drink)
• A good mood
• Money for additional food at the Hann. Münden Christmas market

Note to participants

• This tour is not suitable for baby carriages and/or handcarts
• A dear dog may accompany the hike on a leash
• Alcohol consumption during the hike is limited to the two mulled wines offered at the planned stops at the Weserliedanlage and Tillyschanze.
• Please ask when registering whether the dog area is still available
• The tour will be conducted with a minimum of 10 registered persons
• The maximum group size is 20 people
