Many of the fairy tales recorded by the Brothers Grimm have their origins in the densely wooded uplands surrounding Kassel. Embark on an enchanting journey of discovery to the homeland of Sleeping Beauty, Mother Hulda & Co.
Join us on our Little Red Riding Hood tour through the Schwalm region, where red caps were once part of the traditional dress of young girls. This is the home of Little Red Riding Hood. The tour leads past the Felsberg castle ruins to Willingshausen, Europe‘s oldest artists‘ colony, and on through charming half‐timbered towns like Homberg with its Brother and Sister Fountain. From Melsungen, we return to Kassel (suggested itinerary).
