Learn more about the more than 1,000-year history and the sights on offer on a tour of the half-timbered town of Melsungen. Its long and eventful past still characterises the townscape today. More than 400 lovingly restored half-timbered houses form a cohesive ensemble around the historic town hall, an imposing half-timbered building dating from 1562/68.
