House of hand weaving and textile art. Weavings and looms from many countries
In addition to the history of hand weaving, the Kircher Weaving Museum also presents the history of the Walter Kircher company, which has been manufacturing hand looms since 1924.

Woven objects and textile art from Germany and many countries around the world are exhibited in eight rooms, complemented by an extensive international reference library on textile techniques in around 15 languages from three centuries, primarily on the subject of weaving. Visitors not only experience an atmospheric permanent exhibition in the almost 300-year-old Low German four-storey house, but also demonstrations of the old crafts of spinning and weaving.

This atmospheric and eventful exhibition is complemented by changing special exhibitions. Visitors can learn about weaving in the hands-on workshop!
