Magic Lights Hann. Münden

The Christmas illuminated streets in the city centre are complemented during the winter months by artfully arranged light sculptures that create true light experience spaces at selected places in the old town.

Larger-than-life, three-dimensional sculptures and trees wrapped in fairy lights transform the old town into a sparkling winter wonderland. Beautifully illuminated half-timbered gables and windows framed with fairy lights make the centuries-old half-timbered treasures shine in a special glow. The water theme, which has always been very important in Hann. Münden is taken up at the scene square behind the town hall. The light installations not only make the eyes shine but also create a cosy atmosphere for a winter stroll through the old town.

Further light installations can be admired at the Ziegenmarkt in the lower area of Lange Straße and the Christmas light elements along the promenade at Dielengraben.  From there, the tour continues towards the Wallanlage. As you stroll through the park, glittering trees wrapped in fairy lights line the path and there are nature and animal elements to discover at selected points.
