"Empirical sandwiches" musical cabaret with Marco Tschirpke

Whether it's a poem or a piano song - comedian Marco Tschirpke knows how to keep it short and sweet. Peppered with references to art and history, an evening with the winner of the 2018 German Cabaret Award is above all an intellectual delight. The way he mixes today with yesterday and the high with the low is so outrageously fun and entertaining that his audience often can't get enough of it. And the kitchen poetry is not neglected either. The fact that Tschirpke is also considered one of the most skilful pianists in his field is thanks to a joy of playing that often leads him to breakneck manoeuvres. His last volume of poetry "Frühling, Sommer, Herbst und Günther" (2015) became a Spiegel bestseller.
