Hotel Marburger Hof

Short facts

  • Marburg

If you want to discover fairy tales, you should go on vacation in Marburg or in the Marburger Land.

The Brothers Grimm were already impressed by the medieval flair of Marburg with its old half-timbered houses, narrow streets, steep stairs, the romantic market square and the imposing Landgrave Castle. During their studies between 1802 and 1806, this fairytale-like setting inspired Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm in their collection of ideas for children's and household tales.

The Hotel Marburger Hof is located between the main train station and the old town, right next to the famous Elisabeth Church. From here it is a five-minute walk to the famous crooked, hump-backed, winding and steep upper town of Marburg. The hotel houses a wonderful restaurant with a Spanish flair. It also has a large number of different room categories. From the simple and functional Economy Room Plus to modern standard rooms to the comfortable and spacious suite.
