Weserliedanlage
The Weserliedanlage is a lookout point on the slope of the Questenberg and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the confluence of the Werra and Fulda to the Weser and the old town of Hann. Mouth.
The lookout point made of beige sandstone was built in 1931 in honor of the poet and composer of the Weser song, Franz von Dingelstedt (lyrics from 1835) and Gustav Pressel (setting in 1845).
The two bronze reliefs with the likenesses of Gustav Pressel and Franz von Dingelstedt were designed by the Mündener sculptor Gustav Eberlein. The lyrics of the Weser song are engraved on a bronze plaque.
