Since April 2018, the Sababurg has been extensively renovated by the owner, the State of Hesse. Before the Sleeping Beauty Castle Sababurg shines in new splendor, extensive renovation work is necessary. Castle lovers and fairy tale fans can still visit Sababurg during the major construction phase. From April to the end of October, the outdoor area, including a tour of the wall and the terrace, is accessible to visitors free of charge on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During this time, the Thiergarten gastronomy team has a food truck with goodies against hunger and thirst ready in the courtyard.
