Whether on a hike along the art trail “ARS NATURA", a cycling tour on signposted bicycle routes of more than 500 km, or a canoe ride on the Eder and Fulda – healthy activity is united with an impressive experience of nature.
The combination of a sporting challenge in an attractive landscape makes the Oberaula golf course especially popular for golfers from all of Germany. Others seek their holiday pleasures in the heights: they can explore the Schwalm-Eder county from a bird's eye view in a sailplane or motor airplane. A journey to the mediaeval half-timbered towns of the region is always a worthwhile visit.
