From Wiedensahl to Loccum, the tour follows the "Große Weserlandroute" to Loccum with its monastery, which was founded in 1163 and is now a Protestant monastery. The former Cistercian monastery is one of the best-preserved monastery complexes in Germany.
Bad Rehburg is home to the historic spa facilities (km 6). A fairytale trail with wooden sculptures depicting the Grimm fairytales has been created here(Brothers Grimm Fairytale Trail ).

The rest of the cycle route follows a loop to Münchehagen. A visit to the local dinosaur park is highly recommended. In this open-air museum, you can also marvel at original footprints of dinosaurs that were found here in the former quarry. There are also more than 130 impressive life-size replicas of the prehistoric animals in the extensive park.

Just a short distance away, you come across the Steinhuder Meer through the Meerbruchwiesen nature reserve. There is also a Meerbrucherlebnispfad nature trail and an observation tower from which you can watch the birds in the marshes.
Outside the nature reserve, Rehburg is home to the remains of an early medieval fortification, the Düsselburg, of which the earth ramparts can still be seen. Zigzagging side roads bring you back to the Weser at Landesbergen. The well-known Weser cycle path, which is already well used, takes cyclists effortlessly to Nienburg/Weser, a small town with a pretty old town, which can be explored along a three-kilometre circular route with over 500 painted bear paws to the sights. Half-timbered and Weser Renaissance buildings characterize the townscape. Nienburg offers an interesting museum landscape with the Lower Saxony Asparagus Museum, the Nienburg Police Museum and the Regional Museum
