In the gable of the Weser Renaissance town hall, a glockenspiel with a figure orbit commemorates Doctor Ironbeard.
To the melody of the well-known Doctor Ironbeard song, which is also known as the mocking song, the figures depict a treatment scene. Doctor Ironbeard extracts a tooth from a patient who has been anaesthetised with a hammer, while his assistants draw the attention of the audience to themselves.
