It is possible that Vockerode is the village where the Goldmarie and the Pechmarie come from.

Below the Hohe Meißner, where, according to legend, Mrs. Holle lives, lies the village from which the two stepsisters came from, who entered the service of Mrs. Holle.

The Kassel artist Erika Maria Wiegand designed the two bronze sculptures that sit on the two village fountains.
