The tourist information is operated by Hameln Marketing und Tourismus GmbH (HMT) on behalf of the city.
The information center was inaugurated in May 2000, shortly before the start of the EXPO in Hanover. In the winter of 2013/2014, the customer service area was fundamentally modernized and equipped with the latest technology. The new decoration with fairytale motifs underlines the affiliation to the German Fairy Tale Route.
During a visit you can convince yourself of the stylish ambience and the unique range of exclusive souvenirs. Our modern customer information and animation is also on site. Not to be missed: the award-winning film "Sagenhaftes Hameln - Märchenhaftes Weserbergland", which is shown on a large screen.

Arrival via ICE train stations in Hanover and Hildesheim. From Hanover and Paderborn with the S-Bahn / regional train. From Bünde (Bad Oeynhausen-Süd) and Bodenburg (via Hildesheim and Elze) with the NordWestBahn.
There are 3 customer parking spaces directly at the tourist information. Further parking spaces can be found in the immediate vicinity: Tanzschule Für Sie, Posthof, Rathaus or Kopmanshof.
There are also free bus parking spaces in the 164er-Ring and on Deisterstraße.
