Munchhausen stands worldwide as a symbol for the fantastic and the unbelievable - no lie!

Memorabilia from the personal belongings of Hieronymus v. Münchhausen as well as pictures and documents trace important stages of his life.
Another focus of the presentation in the Münchhausen Museum is the book that made the Baron von Münchhausen world-famous and immortal.

Over 1400 different book copies in 49 languages and illustrations from two centuries attest to the worldwide and timeless fascination of the stories for people of all ages. In addition, the museum guides prove that they have mastered the art of storytelling brilliantly.
