Fairytale fountain

Short facts

  • Wolfhagen

A sculpture of wolf and little goat adorns the fountain in the church square.

At the fairytale fountain on the church square there is a life-size bronze wolf whose belly is filled with stones. The seventh little kid stands on the edge of the well.

This beautiful sculpture, based on the fairy tale "The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats", embodies the affiliation to the German Fairy Tale Route. The bronze was created in 2002 as part of a cultural project by the artist Bohrmann-Roth and has been a popular photo motif in the heart of Wolfhagen ever since
