Along the well-developed Weser Cycle Path, you can follow the route from Hameln to Rinteln without any effort. This pretty little town on the Weser is particularly worth seeing. Numerous houses feature Weser Renaissance style elements. A good hour away from Rinteln, a detour to Vlotho is a good idea, as here too you can admire a small but charming old town. The castle ruins tower over Vlotho. From there you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Weser.
