Let yourself be transported back more than 200 years in time and listen to the stories that made Hieronymus Carl Friedrich Freiherr von Münchhausen world-famous. Sitting on the steps in front of his former manor house, the famous storyteller recounts his adventures to his friends. After hearing a few of his tales, you’ll understand why Münchhausen is known as the “Baron of Lies.”
The Münchhausen Theater Group’s amateur performance takes place every first Sunday from May through October at 3:00 p.m. in Bodenwerder, in front of City Hall. For 40 years now, the actors of the amateur theater group have been delighting fairy tale lovers of all ages with the stories of the incredible storyteller.
