Wilhelmshöhe Visitor Center

The visitor center at the foot of the Hercules statue is a hub for hikers, strollers, and visitors to the Hercules statue and the water features. Here you’ll find all the important information about the park grounds, palaces, and other buildings, as well as museums and exhibitions.

Spanning 550 m², it features a lounge area with restrooms and a section where you can learn about Hercules, the water features, and the Bergpark through text, images, and videos. A special feature is the digital Bergpark map: If you’re familiar with it, you’ll be perfectly prepared to explore Europe’s largest mountain park in person! At the visitor center, you can also purchase tickets to all attractions in the Bergpark. And in the museum shop, you’ll find books, maps, and many souvenirs related to Kassel and the Bergpark.
