Winter sports in the mountains Hoher Meißner
The cross-country skiing equipment in the geo-nature park is also in use when the depth of snow is low. In the Hausener Hute area there are downhill skis with two ski lifts. In addition to the classic cross-country ski trail (9 km and 5 km), a skating route (5 km) and a trial lap (1.5 km) are prepared.
Those who want to go without boards can use the popular winter hiking trail (3.8 km) around the Rebbes or the toboggan slopes on the Viehhauswiese and at the NaturFreunde Meißnerhaus.

Openings
- As soon as there is enough snow, the trails are groomed and prepared and are available to winter sports enthusiasts from sunrise to sunset.
The ski lifts have different opening times.
The kiosk on the cross-country ski trail parking lot is open at least on weekends depending on the weather. Price info
- A donation of € 1.00 for the maintenance of the cross-country ski run is requested.
