- The Reinhardswald Nature Park is located in the northern tip of Hesse, right outside the gates of the city of Kassel and in the three-country corner of Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony. The next larger cities are Kassel in the south, Göttingen in the east and Höxter in the north.
Arriving by car: The most important traffic arteries are the A44 (Dortmund - Kassel) and A7 (Hamburg - Kassel) as well as the B7, B80 and B83 highways.
To get to the Reinhardswald Nature Park as quickly as possible, please use the Breuna (A44), Nörten-Hardenberg (A7), Hann. Münden (A7) or Kassel (A7).
Arriving by bus and train: Arriving by train and bus is also convenient and stress-free. From the train station in Kassel, the cities of Immenhausen, Grebenstein and Hofgeismar (including the Hümme district) can be reached without changing. Bad Karlshafen is approached via the line between Beverungen, Bodenfelde and Göttingen. For the places along the Weser, the train station in Hann. Open up a possibility. Buses go to the other cities and districts.
